Marcy Riley’s path to funeral service began with an unexpected change of direction — and a sense of purpose that proved impossible to ignore. Originally planning to pursue her passion for pastry arts at The Culinary Institute of America in New York, Marcy found herself drawn to a calling that offered something deeper: the opportunity to walk alongside families during life’s most difficult moments and find genuine fulfillment in meaningful work.

A 2020 graduate of Reuther Central High School, Marcy committed herself fully to her new path and earned an Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in June of 2025. During her studies, she distinguished herself academically as a member of Pi Sigma Eta, the mortuary science honor fraternity — a reflection of both her dedication and her natural aptitude for the profession she chose.

When she’s not at the funeral home, Marcy can be found rolling dice at a tabletop board game night, exploring the latest video games, crocheting, or catching live music at a concert. Above all, she treasures time spent with her friends and family — the same qualities of connection and care that make her a natural fit for serving the families of Southeast Wisconsin.
