Kayle Wood

Kayle Wood was born and raised in Kenosha, where she attended St. James Catholic Grade School before graduating from St. Joe’s High School. She went on to further her education at UW-Parkside. A lifelong Kenosha resident, Kayle’s deep roots in the community have shaped her into the compassionate and caring person she is today.

Kayle came to Piasecki Funeral Home many years ago to serve as a Funeral Director Assistant, and from the very beginning, she knew she had found her calling. Her genuine warmth and heartfelt dedication to the families she serves have made her an invaluable member of the Piasecki team. Over the years, Kayle has been deeply touched by the many families she has had the privilege of walking alongside during their most difficult moments, and she considers it an honor to provide comfort and care when it is needed most.

Kayle is the proud mother of three children, all of whom are married, and the adoring grandmother of six grandchildren who truly light up her life. Her time away from the funeral home is spent doing what she loves most — being with her grandkids, whether it’s babysitting, cheering them on at their events, or simply soaking in the joy they bring.

Kayle also enjoys traveling, with trips to Upper Michigan to visit her son and his family being among her favorites. When she’s not on the road, you might find her on the pickleball court or spending quality time with friends and family. Kayle’s love for her community, her family, and the families she serves at Piasecki Funeral Home shines through in everything she does.
