Timothy N. Lewis
June 12, 1974 -
February 8, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy N. Lewis on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital. He was born June 12, 1974 to William and Elaine (Grenda) Lewis, and spent the majority of his life in Illinois.
On January 14, 2012 he was united in marriage to Kimberly Bruenning, and soon after became a resident of Kenosha.
Tim was employed at Leica Biosystems in Richmond, Illinois, where he worked as a component technician. He took pride in his work and was known for his reliability, attention to detail, and positive attitude. Tim approached his job with quiet dedication and kindness, earning the respect and appreciation of his coworkers.
Tim had a playful sense of humor that was often goofy and sophomoric, and his laughter was contagious. He was an accomplished bowler who participated in city and state tournaments for many years alongside friends and family, creating memories rooted in both competition and camaraderie. He enjoyed spending time outdoors playing backyard games, hiking in the woods or near the lake, and occasionally fishing in local Wisconsin lakes.
Music was another joy in Tim's life. His wanna be rockstar pursuit of the guitar brought happiness to those who had the pleasure of listening to him play. Above all else, Tim cherished time with family and friends. He was Jack's number one cheerleader and loved supporting and watching him play soccer.
A gentle giant with a kind spirit and soft heart, Tim was known for his pure and loving hugs, his warm personality, and his ever present smile. He never met someone he did not like, and if you spent five minutes with Tim, you had a friend for life. His positive and optimistic attitude, even through life's challenges, continues to shape and uplift those who were blessed to have known him.
Tim was an active member of his church community and a proud member and Treasurer of the Knights of Columbus chapter at St. Mary Catholic Church. He especially loved serving others at the church fish fries, finding great joy in working side by side with his fellow Knights.
Tim was a man who truly embraced life, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. The bond he shared with his wife, Kim, was built on a foundation of love, laughter, and unwavering support for each other. Tim loved his son, Jack, with his whole heart. Jack gave him purpose, strength, and the determination to keep fighting, even on the hardest days.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Tim will remember him for his infectious laugh and his ability to make even the dullest days brighter. He had a unique way of connecting with people, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. His compassionate spirit and gentle demeanor will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the stories shared among friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Kim; his son Jack; his father William Sr.; his brother, William Jr.; and his sister, Sheila Kovach; his nephew, Matthew Kovach; and his niece, Chloe Kovach; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine; his nephew, Kyle Bronson; and beloved grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Knights of Columbus, KOC Council #14362 would be appreciated. Please indicate "Tim Lewis" in the memo line of any donations made.
