
Russell E. “Gene” Antrim

Russell E. “Gene” Antrim, age 87 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie.
Born in Monticello, IL on August 5, 1928, he was the son of the late David W. and Iva E. (Wheeler) Antrim. As a child he moved to Kenosha and was a graduate of Kenosha High School.
In February of 1952, he was united in marriage to Amelia Zuccarelli. She preceded him in death on August 7, 1976. On September 9, 1978 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Dawn M. St. Amand. She preceded him in death on January 13, 2015.
For 36 years Gene was employed as a truck driver with AMC/Chrysler.
Gene had served as a Cub Scout Commissioner and Boy Scout leader. He also had actively served as president of the Vernon School Association and was involved in CYC baseball. Gene enjoyed woodworking, gardening; especially vegetables and was an avid Packer and Brewers fan.
He is survived by his five children, Ronald (Susan), Leonard (Glenna), Russell (Vivian) and Eric (Dawn) Antrim and Janice (Adam) Scheppler; thirteen grandchildren with one on the way; three great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and two wives, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Wave, Glenn, Frank and Donald Antrim; his four sisters, Norma Musselman, Dorothy Mueller, Estelle Olson and Letha in infancy; and his granddaughter, Gabrielle Antrim.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha,WI. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
