With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paula A. DeBruin, who left us on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 60. Paula was born on November 21, 1965, Paula spent her life in Kenosha and Racine, where she cultivated deep connections with her family and friends.
Paula was known for her warm smile and genuine passion for connecting with people. Her career in bartending showcased her talent as a natural people pleaser, as she effortlessly created a welcoming atmosphere wherever she went. Friends and patrons alike were drawn to her infectious energy and kindness.
An enthusiastic Green Bay Packers fan, Paula embraced her beloved team with fervor. Game days were events in her household, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and plenty of delicious food that she crafted with love. Cooking was not just a hobby for Paula; it was an art through which she expressed her affection for family and friends. She found joy in sharing her culinary creations, often gathering loved ones around the table for joyous celebrations. Trips to the casino were always at the top of her list of fun times.
Paula is survived by her siblings, Kimberly (Chris), Billy, Tonya (Brandon), and Shannon (Brandon); her companion Richard of three years, who all will carry her memory forward in their hearts. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, warmth, and spirited nature. Paula's unwavering support and enthusiasm for life inspired those around her, making every moment spent with her a cherished memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille and stepfather, James.
In moments of sorrow, we find solace in the memories we shared with Paula-a true testament to the love and laughter she spread during her time with us. May she rest in peace, forever loved and never forgotten.
Services for Paula will be held privately at a later date.

January 1, 2026Whoever wrote this has no idea of all of Paula’s family her father was William Paul Jacobs no James Jones! I only put this in because cause it was wrong in the first place . She has an aunt Lauralee Jacobs alive along with an uncle Jeffrey M Jacobs and Cheryl Jacobs Pelanis Maureen Jacobs too Her other Uncle that have passed are Ronald A Jacobs, Robert S Jacobs! She has still many cousins that should also miss her!
