
Michael Julian Daoust

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Julian Daoust, who departed this life on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on September 30, 1937, to the late Julian and Thelma in Huntington, West Virginia.
On August 12, 1961, in Ashland he was united in marriage to Barbara King. Shortly thereafter, in 1962 he and his wife moved to Kenosha, WI. He was the proud owner of Daoust Refrigeration, where he applied his expertise and commitment to excellence in the HVAC industry. Mike was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed camping and traveling with his family.
Mike is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Tammi) Daoust of Port Charlotte, Susan (David Rank) Daoust of Caledonia, and Mary (Dave Ducato) Kroes of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Ashley Daoust, Julie (Justin) Wesenick, Andrea (Eric) Schmidt, Jordan Reener, Megan (Brandon) VanArk, Daniel (Julie) Malsch, Shane (Allison Gritzuk) Daoust, Alyssa Daoust, Nick Kroes, Jared Daoust, daughter-in-law Raffaelina, fifteen great grandchildren; his sisters-in-law; Beatrice, Patricia and Marylee Daoust, extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his son Michael, great grandson Jacob Stang and his brothers, David, Daniel and Chris Daoust.

February 10, 2026I grew up with your family and I have so many great memories when we were kids. Our parents were very close and I remember all the parties we had together. Great memories! RIP Mike
