It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of MaryJane Wember, a beloved mother, friend, and cherished member of the Kenosha community, who left us peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on October 17, 1931 to Pasquale and Vennera (Marrazzo) Aceto, MaryJane graced this world with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
On May 1, 1954 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, Edward A. Wember. They enjoyed many years of marriage before his passing in 2005.
MaryJane dedicated her life to fostering a love of literature in her community, inspiring generations to explore the transformative power of books. Her unwavering commitment to literacy and education as a librarian underscored her belief in the importance of knowledge as a means of personal growth and social unity.
She is survived by her devoted son, Ed Wember; daughters, Sandra Bernacchi and Kim (Dale) Lindner; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and her sister, Elena (Paul) Renzoni who will carry forward her legacy of love and compassion. Mary Jane's presence touched the lives of many, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven with laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support for family and friends alike.
MaryJane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Arthur Wember and sister, Rita (Arcangelo) Romano.
MaryJane will be dearly missed, but her love and light will forever remain in our hearts.
