Mark A. Neeson
January 12, 1972 -
June 26, 2017

Mark A. Neeson, age 45, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017, at his home following a valiant five-year battle with colon cancer.
Born in Rockford, IL, on January 12, 1972, he was the son of Charles “Chuck” and Nancy (Woodrick) Neeson.
On March 8, 1997, in Janesville, WI, Mark was united in marriage to Robin Olsen. They were blessed with two children before becoming foster parents and through the six years as foster parents, they were fortunate enough to adopt three children.
He was a member of Ecclesia Church in Kenosha, a longtime New England Patriots fan, enjoyed riding his bicycle; but above all, family came first. His family gave him strength and the ability to battle cancer four years longer than he was given.
For 27 years, Mark was employed with Woodman’s grocery store. He worked as an assistant manager in Kenosha for 20 years and for seven years prior to Kenosha, he worked at the Janesville location.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Robin; his parents, Chuck and Nancy Neeson; their five children, Tyler (Cecelia) Olsen, Kennedy, Anthony, Haileigh and Aliana Neeson. Mark is further survived by his wife’s parents, her sisters, brothers, and his nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at First Christian Church, 13022 Wilmot Rd, Kenosha, WI 53142. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.

Oscar ValadezI had the pleasure of working with Mark, 3rd shift at Woodmans Groceries for about 10 years. He was an awesome worker and boss, he loved to talk trash about my team, the Cowboys - all in good fun. Everyone knew his favorite team, New England, he always wore his tie to represent! I thank God he placed us on the path to meet when we did, I remember when he told me he had an encounter with Jesus and how He was changing his life for the best, I'm glad we shared our faith and experiences, laughs, jokes like our inside joke of "yeah!!!" Which at times was all we said when passing by, and now God has chosen to take him to heaven and his passing away which seems so sad, is in fact glorious... "yeah!!!" God bless the family my prayers to you all

Trina O'DiernoThoughts and prayers to the family. I worked with Nancy and had loved to hear the family stories of Christmas's with the kids. What great opportunities given to the foster children adopted. That is great love. I'm sure his next journey will be blessed with happiness and no pain. Heal together as the family he loved building and remember he will always be with you watching over and guiding you through your paths. Take Care, Trina O'Dierno (M&I Bank)
