Marjorie J. DiCastri passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the age of 98. She was born on April 29, 1927, and was raised by her mother and step-father, the late George and Hazel (Plank) Schuette. She was a graduate of Horlick High School. Marjorie was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend to many.
On August 10, 1950, she was united in marriage to Richard A. DiCastri. They were blessed with almost 65 years of marriage. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, golfing, knitting, sewing, and decorating her home. Marjorie will be remembered for her warmth and kindness, her contagious laughter, and her unwavering dedication to her family.
She is survived by her children, Janise "Jay" (Charles) Labedz, Karyn DiCastri; and her four grandchildren, Janise, David, Steven, and Oona.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by her son, Thomas DiCastri.
Private inurnment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. She was particularly fond of animals, trees, and public television.
Special thanks to Corina, RN and St. Croix hospice as well as all the awesome caregivers at Harvest Home who treated her with kindness and respect.
