Marie J. Goff
July 25, 1922 -
December 20, 2025

US Veteran
Marie Julie Pfeiffer Goff, one of the most soulful people to walk this earth, has passed away at the age of 103 years, 4 months, and 25 days on Saturday, December 20, 2025. As a centenarian, her youthful spirit was inspirational to all who knew her.
Born to the late Eli and Frances Pfeiffer on July 25, 1922, she had curls like Shirley Temple and was the apple of her daddy’s eye. Although she was born in Minnesota, she called Kenosha her home, growing up on 10th Ave and Washington Rd. It was on this block that she and the boy she would one day marry, Allan Goff, laughed and played together as children. Allan passed away in 2020 at the age of 97. They had just celebrated 74 years of marriage.
In 1962, she and Allan moved to Carol Beach Estates near Lake Michigan where they raised their 6 children into successful adults. Marie was an incredible mom that didn’t take the stress of life too seriously. The family recounts how she would play all day and then quickly tidy up before daddy got home! They also talk of the many good times spent swimming on the beach just down from their house, Marie often being the first one in the water! Left on this earth to celebrate her life, she leaves behind Marcia Goff Romo, Gary (Kathy) Goff, Roger Goff, Brenda (Rick Bast) Densmore and Laure (Bruce) Lambert. Earlier this year, her daughter, Kristie Sargent passed away unexpectedly.
As a grandmother, she made the most amazing impression on her grandchildren, and they are beyond grateful for all the years they got to share with her. Here she leaves behind, Simone (Yazi) Fletcher, Heather (Mike) Filippelli, Erika Romo, Wendy Romo, Alan Romo, Lisette Romo, Emily (Matt) Koepnick, Andrew (Natalie) Goff, Caitlin (Dustin) Dunckel, Ian (Mandy) Cunningham, and Tony (Cindy) Densmore. As a great-grandmother, she really was great and grand! At her ripe old age, she loved to talk to, talk about, and hear of this latest generation of the Goff family making their way in the world. They are Kodakara, Tarkan, Rowan, Hemingway, Jacob, Rosi, Josie, MariFer, Alan, Sam, Isaac, Camila, Federico, Alyn, Citlali, Itzel, Finn, Isla, Julia, Matteo, Dustin Jr, Cecilia, Suzannah, Savannah, Samantha, David, and great-great granddaughter, Chelsea.
As a veteran of WWII, Marie was blessed by the benefits of her service and the Goff family is forever thankful for the life she was able to lead due to these enhancements. When many would have had to enter a nursing home, Marie was able to live out her days in the privacy and comfort of her own home, first at Beech Pointe Apartments in Kenosha, and most recently moving into her daughter Kristie's home in Racine.

December 31, 2025My condolences to all the Goff Family. Marie, Allen and family exemplified love of family, friends and community. Wonderful people I will always remember the times at 4 of July picnics, fishing for perch with cane poles off the Lake Michigan pier, and bringing home their “ice fishing derby” puppy dog from Twin Lakes. God rest her soul in heaven.

December 30, 2025It has been many years since I've seen Mrs. Goff. I have good memories of knowing Marie, Allan and their children while growing up near Carol Beach. I send my deepest sympathy to the entire Goff family. Such an inspiring legacy Marie has left for each of the families generations. May all their many wonderful memories shared together, bring them solace and smiles. May she rest in peace.
