Madonna L. “Donna” Wright, age 59, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 14, 1955, in Sparta, WI, she was the daughter of the late Earl William and Ellen (Blume) Schaitel. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
On October 13, 1973, Donna was united in marriage to Jay Wright in Zion, IL.
In 1994, she established their family business; Custom Painted Vehicles, Inc., in Franksville with the help of her husband and son, opening their doors on January 3, 1995. CPV was recognized by the state as a woman owned business enterprise and by the National Woman Business Owners Corp. in March 2015.
She attended Oak Creek Assembly of God. Her hobbies included riding her motorcycle, gardening and sewing. Donna adored her grandchildren and loved the time she spent with them. She never let a holiday pass without decorating the house and used her talents to make Christmas the most special day of the year.
Donna will be deeply missed by her husband, Jay; their two children, Stephany (Jason) Lichter and Steven (Dana) Wright; her six siblings, Thomas (Diane) Schaitel, Timothy (Lylace) Schaitel, Mary Ellen Tscheu, Patricia (Jeff) Robinson, Sandra (David) Hawes and Michael (Terry) Schaitel; and seven grandchildren, Christian, Steven, Morgan, Jaden and Mya Wright and Jack and Megan Lichter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Schaitel and a sister, Roseanne Schaitel.
Service Info
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Living Light Community Center, 740 College Avenue, Racine. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

Joice LangeJay , I am so sorry to hear of Donna's passing, Judy & Hilary Lange down the road from you sent me her obit. I was really shocked and saddened . Donna was a sweet soul . I lost my sweet husband Dennis two years ago on our anniversary & his birthday , my life will never be the same, as I'm sure yours will be changed . Sorry again Jay and family . She will be sadly missed very much. We will always remember her in our prayers. We are so sorry that we can't be there. I will always remember the last time I seen her.
