Lois Marie (nee: Nevelier) Christensen, age 84, of Kenosha passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
Born on October 29, 1933 in Antioch, IL, she was the daughter of the late David and Pauline Nevelier.
She received the most joy in life from being a wife, mother of four, grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of four.
Lois is survived by children, Cheryl (David) Rules, Kathleen Paul, Thomas (Linda) Christensen and Scott (Mary) Christensen; grandchildren, Patrick Christensen, Lynn Christensen, Danielle Giers, Jennifer (Brian) Moy, Alyssa Christensen, Cody Christensen, Sarah Rules and David Rules; plus her beautiful great-grandchildren, Hannah, Haylee and Evan Moy and Brayden Christensen.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Christensen (d. Aug. 24, 2008) and 2 sisters, Florence and Mildred.
Service Info
Funeral Services honoring Lois’ life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

David MillerMy condolences and prayers to the family. I have so many pleasant memories of Aunt Lois. She was such a wonderful, caring person - always looking out for everyone around her. Aunt Lois was such an important part of every visit to the Wisconsin relatives. She'll be missed greatly!
