Kelly Lawler, age 42, passed away tragically on Sunday, April 5, 2020 in a motorcycle accident.
She was born on August, 24, 1977 to Patrick Lawler and Kathy-Jo Jans. Kelly attended local schools and graduated from Alverno College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Kelly was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, best friend and mother to her fur babies Dublin and Chumley. Her exterior beauty is apparent but her true beauty was her loving heart, amazing soul, passion for life, infectious laugh, contagious smile and her ability to light up a room. She was adored by anyone who met her and loved by all. Kelly has touched so many people’s lives with endless love and tenderness.
For the first time in Kelly’s life, she had found her true love, Jeff Uick. Both of their souls went to heaven together.
Kelly is survived by her father Patrick Lawler and her mother Kathy-Jo Jans; her sisters, Lisa Metcalfe and Kimberlin Haltner; her brother, Patrick Lawler, II; her fur babies, Dublin and Chumley; her nephews, Michael Mertens and Dylan Metcalfe; her niece, Natalia Haltner.

A drive up viewing to pay your respects and blow Kelly a kiss goodbye, will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53142.
Kelly’s family would like to share this poem that they found in her journal.

Stephanie LamsamI'm so sorry for Kelly's sudden passing. It was apparent how much she loved her family and her boys. At work she was always so excited to share the fun she had with her sisters, from her birthday at Ravinia to seeing a play and sharing their favorite bottle of wine with dinner afterward. She was so happy when she was able to move closer to family and loved sharing her latest decorating projects and home improvements. At work, Kelly was passionate about what she did and was so smart. I'll miss her upbeat and fun personality and she was truly caring to those around her. Her loss is beyond sad and our team will miss her greatly. Although these are some of the hardest times, take comfort in family, friends and the good memories you shared with her and allow yourself happiness. My thoughts are with you during these trying times.

Lisa KellerI'm so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Kelly at Rexnord, she was definitely a ray of light. We were all stunned to hear of her passing. There are simply no words for this kind of tragic loss. May you find comfort in the memories and love you shared as well as from God in the days ahead.
