Mark SeveyI have worked at Unico for all of my adult professional life, and knew Kay for about 27 years. When I started at Unico, Kay maintained the old Vax mainframe computers, the AppleTalk network, Macintosh computers, and even programmed chips for production, to name a few things that I can recall. Kay was “it” for information technology (IT), back then. Things changed as the years went by: Kay took on more responsibility, information technology got more complicated, and she got to manage a department (IT) with other workers. You could always count on Kay to solve IT problems, even if it took some time, and perhaps working around company bureaucracy. I am sorry to hear about Kay’s passing and I give her family my condolences.
I worked with Kay for a few months when she was setting up our network. She was a great person. My condolence to her family.
Kay was a very kind person I worked with her for many years, she was always willing to help when we needed it. My thoughts and prayers to her family.
