Karen Diane Topolovec
July 4, 1958 -
October 22, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Diane Topolovec, who passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Kenosha, WI on July 4, 1958, to the late Theodore and Dorothy (Cundari) Topolovec. Karen was a graduate of Bradford High School and earned her associates degree from Gateway Technical. Karen was a vibrant spirit whose laughter and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Karen dedicated her career to working in surgery and then for an ENT physician. She was committed to her work in the healthcare industry and spent years making a difference in the lives of others. Her warm heart extended far beyond her profession, as she cherished her time spent cooking, laughing, and creating memories with friends and family. Above all, she found joy in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her dear ones, especially her BFF, Dominic.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Thea (Tommy Hamilton) Topolovec; her grandson, Dominic; her brother, David (Lygia) Topolovec; and her sister, Beth (Alim) Ray and her fur babies, Teddie, Cheeto, Frito and Gus-Gus. They will forever hold her in their hearts as a source of love and inspiration.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by two brothers in infancy.
Rest in peace, Karen. Your love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved you.
A special thanks to Dr. David Knight, Cancer Care Infusion Staff, Froedtert South 2300 Wing Staff and Hospice Alliance for their compassionate, kind and loving care provided to Karen.

November 4, 2025Karen brought joy to everyone she met. My only memories of her are with her smiling face and laughter. I’ve not heard a song by the B52’s or The Roaches without thinking of Karen, dancing and singing. 💜
