February 18, 2026

With heavy hearts, the family of Julie A. Garland announces her passing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the age of 46. She was born in Oak Park, Illinois, on December 7, 1979, to the late Gary and Shirley (Cameron) Garland.
Julie was widowed from her partner, Angela, in November 2025, and missed her deeply.
She faced life's challenges with courage and a kind heart, always lifting those around her with her warmth, humor, and generosity. Her resilience and kindness never faltered. She had a generous heart and a spirit that lifted those around her, always ready to offer a smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand. She had a way of making people feel seen, cared for, and loved. Friends and family will remember her for her compassion, her strength, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Julie's life, though too short, touched countless hearts. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to live on in the love she shared and the lives she enriched.
"Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God... In my father’s house there are many rooms... I am going there to prepare a place for you"
(John 14:1-3)
A private celebration of Julie's life will be held, with details to be announced at a later date.

February 27, 2026Julie was such a huge part of my daughter, Angela's life. They loved each other so much and had a lot of laughs together, and so much fun, as well. I will always treasure how much they loved one another, as well as other memories, that we had together, as a family. Rest in peace, Julie. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to Julie's family. I know how difficult this must be for all of you.
