With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jerome Francis Mutchler, who left us peacefully at the age of 90 on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Born on December 23, 1934, to Walter and Gina (Hillesland) Mutchler in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Jerome was a lifelong resident of the area and was well-loved by family and friends alike.
Jerome dedicated much of his life to his work as a Crane Operator at American Brass, where he spent countless years honing his craft and making lasting friendships. Outside of work, he was a proud member of the Moose Lodge, where he cherished the camaraderie and fellowship of his fellow members.
A true outdoorsman, Jerome found joy in hunting and fishing, often spending his weekends in the great Wisconsin landscape. He also nurtured a passion for gardening, tending to his plants with the same care and dedication he showed to his family and friends.
Jerome is survived by his beloved extended family that includes his nieces and nephews: Lynda Durbin, Jack Mutchler, Gary Mutchler, Lance Mutchler, Brett Mutchler, Donna Cornelius, Barbara Magnussen, Jeff Mutchler, Rick Mutchler, and Todd Mutchler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Gene, Walter "Wally", Raymond, Wayne, Lonnie and Larry Mutchler; sisters-in-law, Leila Mutchler, Helen Mutchler, Sally Mutchler and Donna Mutchler.
Thank you to the staff at Brookside for showing an incredible amount of care over the years for Jerry, and a special thank you to Susie.
