AnashaThe space between the time of our birth and death, a dash, one or two inches long. It signifies all the learning experiences of everyday life. Our mother, Irene Mae Salerno, Angelo, LeWand, would have quite a longer dash for her 94 years. Coming from a humble beginning as part of a traditional Italian family drawing strength from each other and their heritage, she persevered. As a mother of eight, her responsibilities grew in a myriad of multitasking focus; a necessary component of living devotion. She loved Italian music, singing and dancing while maintaining our necessities through childhood and into adulthood. Her evolution to self-care reflected the independent, vivacious woman she became. Most of all she loved her children. Forever we are grateful as we celebrate her.
