December 4, 2025Mrs. Scuglik was an omnipresent, caring neighborhood mom and friend to all of us kids lucky enough to grow up on 35th Place. I always felt she was looking out for everyone’s wellbeing. When I go home for a visit or think about my old street, Gloria (and the entire Scuglik family) shines brightly in my mind. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her smile and many happy memories live on. Peace & Love, Leah

December 3, 2025My fmily and I were very sorry to hear of the passing of Gloria. She and Tony were the foundation of our beloved Slovak Catholic Sokol Group 4. They were always at our Group 4 qualification track meets for the Slet (track and gymnastic meets) and encouraged all of our participants to do their best. They attended many of the Slets and supported our youth. Gloria always had a smile and kind words whenever I spoke with her. Gloria was a true example of the Sokol spirit and had a strong faith in God and her religion. Gloria you will be missed by all of Group 4. Until we meet again Zdar Boh. Say Hi to Tony from us Our deepest condolenses to Gloria's family and friends. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
