Felix Manuel Tirado, age 74 of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May18, 2018.
Born in La Perla, Puerto Rico on March 16, 1944, he was the son of the late Felix Tirado Castro and Angelita Santiago. As a young man he moved from Puerto Rico to Waukegan, IL, and then made Kenosha his home.
On January 16, 1966 in Waukegan, IL, he was united in marriage to Carmen Milagros.
For 14 years, Felix was employed as a line worker with Chrysler Corporation. Felix was a hardworking man and he liked being a scrapper in his retirement.
Religion always played an important part of Felix’s life. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, making videos and cooking. Above all, he was a devoted family man who absolutely loved his family.
Felix is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carmen Milagros Tirado; his children, Felix Antonio, Gregory (Lana), Juan, Angel Tirado and Maria Lisa (Matthew) Diener; his siblings, Victor Tirado, Lola (Francisco) Rivera, Carlos (Susan) Vasquez, Ezequel (Lisa) Vasquez, Angelita Melendez, Orlando (Lily) Tirado Gardòn, Roberto (Maria) Tirado Gardòn, Pedro (Migelina) Elias and Nelson Tirado Gardòn; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Carmen Tirado, Milagro Ramos, Jeanie Ward and Felix Alberto Tirado Gardòn; and a grandson, Giovani Tirado.
Service Info
Funeral Services honoring Felix’s life will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Interment will take place in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.

Porfiria VierasWould like to give my deepest condolences to the family. I have not seen him for over 10 years bt I remember him as a kid. He was very stern and honest but also a good person and remember his smile. He was the time to be very blunt and honest but had a sweet and funny side to him. I use to be at his house alot with his daughter Lisa and was very caring and made you feel welcomed. Its so sad for him to keave his family how he dud but theyve gained an Angel.
