KittEdith, I will always cherish the hours we spent together. I'm thankful that through your wonderful stories I could be such an intimate part of your life. I feel like I was with you and your sisters as you grew up on that hot Illinois farm, as if I were there as you rolled down the steep hill on the side of your childhood home in an old wooden barrel. You brought me to the tragedy of your young brother's death. I listened, through your stories, to the voices of your hard working mother and father. As a young lady I went with you to work at the shoe factory. I had breakfast with you and George on the farm. You took me through the years of your life in laughter and tears. I'm grateful to have known you. Now you go on to catch up with those who went before you, and soon we shall meet again in our Father's house. Thank you Edith, I will miss you. Kitt
