
David C. Mogensen

David C. Mogensen, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2017.
Born in Racine, WI on February 4, 1963, he was the son of Richard and Geralyn (nee: Pallesen) Mogensen.
He graduated in 1981 from Racine Washington Park High School.
David was united in marriage to Heather Berg at Emmaus United Methodist Church on October 30th, 2004. Their marriage was blessed with many years of love and happiness.
David’s career was with the Pleasant Prairie Police Department. He started as a dispatcher in 1987 and quickly rose through the ranks, retiring as Deputy Chief in 2016.
Some of David’s passions were photography and spending time fishing and relaxing on Shawano Lake. He also enjoyed Astronomy and was a board member of the Racine Astronomical Society.
David is survived by his wife Heather; his mother, Geralyn; siblings, Linda (Bill) Brossard, Richard (Michele) Mogensen, Shari (Scott) Hansen and Michael (Carri) Mogensen; and loving nieces and nephews, Amanda, Ashley, Nicholas, Amanda, Tom, Jeni, Jason, Alyssa and Eric.
He is further survived by in-laws, Richard and Karen (nee: Martorano) Berg and brother-in-law, John (Gwen) Berg. He will also be missed by his canine companions Tigger and Pooh.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mogensen.
