Chelsea Marie Sladek, age 31, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Joliet, IL on September 24, 1991, she was the daughter of Larry and Kim (Shamberg) Sladek. She was a graduate of Kenosha East School and earned her Associates Degree in Veterinary Science from Fox College in IL.
She was employed with Wisconsin Equine Clinic for 8 years.
Chelsea was a member of the 4-H club growing up and was a plant enthusiast with a spectacular green thumb. She enjoyed riding and showing horses, was an active gym member and a supporter of donating blood. Chelsea was an avid Packer and Bucks fan; but most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by her parents, Larry and Kim Sladek; her siblings, Zachary and Kayla Sladek; her maternal grandma, Stella Shamberg, her aunts, uncles and cousins; the love of her life, Nick Rehbein and her best friend, Brittany Rothwell.
Chelsea was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
Service Info
Memorial services honoring Chelsea’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
Inurnment will be held privately.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
