Brennan J. Havican
September 26, 1987 -
December 26, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brennan J. Havican on Friday, December 26, 2025. Brennan was born on September 26, 1987, to Robert Havican and Maureen Feicht. He was a 2006 graduate of Bradford High School, though it was the school of life that shaped him most.
A spirited soul from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Brennan left an unforgettable mark on everyone he met. He loved people, deeply and genuinely, and had a rare gift for making others feel seen, welcome, and understood. A free spirit with an infectious laugh, he could light up a room simply by walking into it.
Music was Brennan's greatest passion and truest language. A vocalist for many local bands, he poured his heart into every performance. Through his solo project, Needsleep, Brennan was a true creative force, writing lyrics, playing every instrument, and lending his unmistakable voice to songs that reflected his depth and vulnerability. Music wasn't just something he did, it was who he was.
Brennan also expressed his love for people through art and photography, particularly portrait photography, where he found joy in helping others feel confident and seen. His creative eye extended to all forms of art, and his love for animals, singing, and storytelling was evident in everything he did.
Known for his passion for fitness, his boundless energy, and his adventurous spirit, Brennan traveled throughout the United States, following wherever the wind might take him. Yet no matter how far he roamed, he always came home.
Brennan's life ended far too soon. He will be remembered for his kindness, his creativity, his laughter, and the deep love he carried for others. His music, art, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
Brennan is survived by his devoted mother, Maureen Feicht; father, Robert Havican; extended family, Marty & Diana Rangel; brother, Brandon Rangel; and sister, Tina (Robert) Millard; and many friends who will cherish his memory and carry on his spirit of joy and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus (https://www.wihumane.org/) would be appreciated.
We invite all friends and family to join us in paying tribute to Brennan, sharing stories, laughter, and perhaps some of his favorite tunes as we remember a life that was all about connection and joy.

March 2, 2026The last time I talked to Brennan was November 2025. A few months before that, he made me a 6 1/2 hour long playlist that I listen to often. A few days ago as I was listening to his song burnslow by his solo project NeedSleep, I couldn’t shake this weird feeling that kept persisting. It had been so long since I heard from him. That’s when I found out the news. I never got the chance to meet Brennan in person and we only knew each other for a brief moment in our lives, but he made an impact on me and helped me believe things will be okay. I hope you are okay now bud. I cherish every conversation we had. Rest easy Brennan.

January 17, 2026Well I have to start by saying its with a heavy heart I write this. You where the one thing in my life that was worth living for. The way you would look at me when I told a corny joke. Or watching you with grandpa as he told you a story, I Miss that smile and laugh and sense of wonder you had. We both had a love Photography and you would send me pictures of things you captured like the lighthouse in Kenosha you definitely had a great eye for capturing a great photo. I have to say im going to miss that hug every time you would come to visit. It was a hug that would take my breath away. You gave me so many great memories I was always so proud of you every time you would send me a new song you where working on or lending a helping hand to your friends. There is so much sadness knowing I will no longer be able to see or talk or just hug you. It still seems like a Nightmare I cannot wake from, like the wind has been taken from my sails. I know your in a better place but to think I have to go on living without you is unbearable, I will never be the same man without you. Rest In Peace Son Until We Meet Again. Miss You

December 31, 2025I only got to meet Brennan a handful of times, but his positivity and compassion were infectious. I was lucky enough to see him and his brother, Brandon, jamming out and making music in my family's basement years ago, as well as connect with him whenever I popped into the Daily Dose back then.
He is a beloved uncle to my nieces who miss him dearly. I will be forever grateful for the love he showered them in.
Thank you for being you. Rest easy, Brennan. 💜
