It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Bolton, age 84, on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Born in Elkhorn, WI on January 7, 1942, to the late Harold and Beatrice (Gillmore) Ling.  Barbara was a graduate of Salem Central High School.

On February 26, 1961, Barbara was united in marriage to Burton Ray Bolton in Paris Corners, WI.

Barbara dedicated many years of her life working in a factory, where she forged lasting friendships and demonstrated her unyielding work ethic. She was admired for her kindness and genuine spirit, always ready to help those in need with a warm smile and open arms. Those who knew her will forever remember her as a beacon of love and support.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.

Barbara is survived by her children, Daniel Bolton of Genoa City, WI and Amy (Dave) Buckallew of Pueblo West CO.; granddaughter, Carri Stilwell of Clifton Forge, VA; great-granddaughter, Peyton Stilwell of Clifton Forge, VA; her sisters, Thelma Brewer of Thorton, CO; Kathy Gordon of Pueblo, CO; sister-in-law, Janet Ling of Union Grove, WI; brother-in-law, Lee (June) Bolton of McCloud, CA; her friend, Jack Worzalla and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry on her legacy of compassion and strength.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Bolton; her daughter, Rebecca and her son Mark.

Rest in peace, Barbara Ann Bolton. Your spirit will forever live on the hearts of those you touched.
