We have shared many wonderful times with both Walter and Elsbeth over the years. Good food, good music, travel, gardening and language were interests in common and formed a bond for the friendship which existed. We were there with them through the loss of their Chris. They were missed when we moved to Arizona in 2000, but kept in contact on a regular basis both by phone and in exchanges of letters through the years. It is our privilege to have known them and shared and been a part of their lives for so many years! They are irreplaceable! Harry and Joanne Jensen

Mike, I'm so sorry to see that (Onkel) Walter passed. It goes without saying that you have my deepest condolences. Onkel Walter and Tante Elsbeth were both very, very dear to me and of course to my mom and dad. So many memories of get togethers - they all sure knew how to have fun. When Helmut fell ill, Walter would come by almost daily without fail to visit. My dad told me before he passed that he was always so grateful for that, and that your dad was such a true friend. It pains me to tell you that I will not be able to make the wake/funeral as I'm in California with my wife Barb who's undergoing medical treatment. Mike, I don't really have the words to convey how sorry I am to see him go and how sorry I am for your loss. Walt
