Scott and I became fast friends in the third grade and I spent a great deal of time at the Marcoe house during my youth. When people make the remark “she was like a second mother,” that was Sue for me. She had a genuine interest in my life and would ask me questions and intently listen to my responses. It is hard to put into words how important that made a youngster feel but that has always resonated with me. She was genuine, caring and sincere. Scott & Lee, find peace in the belief that your mother is reunited with the love of her life, your dad, and all of her pain and suffering has ended. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this difficult time. Sue, forever in my heart.
