
Stanley Jurasewicz
August 13, 1923 - October 31, 2015
Stanley Jurasewicz, age 92 of Kenosha, died peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Parkside Manor.
Born in Kenosha on August 13, 1923, he was the son of the late Matthew J. and Isabelle (Lubneski) Jurasewicz.
From April 1, 1943 until his honorable discharge on December 20, 1945, he honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Stanley was a proud recipient of the Purple Heart.
On May 3, 1952 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Eichler. Sadly, she preceded him in death on July 8, 1961. On October 16, 1976 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Alice Ruffalo.
For 42 years Stanley was employed as a machinist with Tri-Clover.
Stanley was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of Roma Lodge in Racine.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed landscaping, hunting, fishing, wreath making and woodworking.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Alice Jurasewicz; his three children, Michael (Carla), Steven (Diane) and Ann Jurasewicz; his two grandsons, Timothy and Matthew (Kelly Gerkhardt) Jurasewicz; his sister, Helen VanLone; his special nephew, Lee (Amy Johnson) Robin; his special niece, Lisa (John) Bennett; and many other loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Elizabeth, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Harriett Hoye, Lottie Jurasewicz and Anita Robin.
