Russell William Martin, age 75, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on July 12, 1940, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mabel (Harms) Martin.

On July 5, 1981, he was united in marriage to Eva (Minkey) Martin at Grace Lutheran Church.  Sadly she passed away on February 21, 2005.

Russ was employed with American Motors / Chrysler until his retirement. He enjoyed his work and brought his love of cars home with him to his own garage. He also loved raising dogs, deer hunting, and riding his motorcycle. Russ will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his 8 children, Karen (Doug) Goeb, Tammy (Wayne) Kasten, Shelley Schweinsberg, Peggy Martin, Belinda (John) Jacobe, Craig Aker, Nannette (Robert) Hughes and Tara (James) Martin. Russ is further survived by 2 brothers, Joe (Mary) Martin and Don (Sharon) Martin; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
