Richard K. Donaldson, Sr., age 83 of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

He was born on September 21, 1935 in Chicora, PA and was the son of Elliott and Anna Marie (Christy) Donaldson.  He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Richard moved to Kenosha in 1959.

On January 16, 1960 in Zion, IL, he was united in marriage to Shirley Falk.

For over 20 years, Richard worked at Great Lakes Naval Base.

Richard was a talented hunter and great outdoorsman.  He was highly respected by his peers and his tremendous generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Donaldson; his three children, Richard (Dawn) Donaldson, Jr., Kimberly (Mark) Hutchison and Teresa (Klaus) Linke; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; a sister; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings.
