The staff and volunteers at the Civil War Museum send our condolences. Mar began volunteering at the museum in 2008 and ensured our visitors a pleasant and educational experience. It is with great sadness that we hear of his passing. We are grateful for his service and the time he spent with us and our visitors. Our sympathy and best wishes to his family and friends. Carolyn Wheeler, Volunteer Coordinator and his friends at the Civil War Museum

Mar was one of our church role models of friendliness and hospitality. We often heard him say, "I haven't met you yet. I am Mar...." May God strengthen you all in this time of sorrow.
