John Conti, age 73, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren.

John was born on June 27, 1950 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Helen and Tony Conti.

He graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha. He was a proud owner of J & J's Joint and later went on to work and retire from American Airlines.

John married Marcia Nelson on April 15th, 1972. The couple had 2 children, Kristen and Nick.

John grew up in the Columbus Park neighborhood and attended Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.

He enjoyed having a glass of wine while preparing traditional Italian dishes, gardening, and watching his favorite sports teams, the Chicago Cubs and his season ticket-holding Green Bay Packers.

John also served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia; daughter, Kristen (John) Galvin, son, Nick (Deanna) Conti; grandchildren, Gianna and Maddux Galvin, Aleana, Payton, Nadia and Santino Conti; and 1 great-granddaughter, Evie Conti.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Tony and sisters, Toni and Judy.
