Joan C. Mesner, age 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Hospital surrounded by her family.

Joan was born October 24, 1941, the daughter of wonderful and loving parents, John and Helen (Montemurro) DiCello and sister of Annette DiCello, all who preceded her in death.  She attended local schools, Bain, McKinley and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1959.

She worked at Jupiter Corporation and American Motors.

Joan married Frank Mesner, the love her life and she of his, on September 12, 1970, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church.  They spent 42 wonderful years together until Frank’s passing on April 8, 2012.

Joan was very proud of her Calabrian Heritage and was dedicated to preserving the family customs.  She was a long-standing member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and loved their annual festival.

She is survived by many cherished cousins and friends.
