Joan A. Edwards, age 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, November 21, 2024.  Joan is reunited in heaven with the love of her life, Daniel Edwards, whom she was happily married to for 59 years.  Joan was best known as a loving wife, mom and Ama.  She loved others well because of her love for Jesus Christ.

In addition to spending time with family, Joan enjoyed traveling to Israel, England, Ireland and other destinations, singing and praising her Savior, reading, walking in God's creation and eating Fat Elvis ice cream from Scoops.  She was employed in Accounts Payable for Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, IL and volunteered often at her church, most recently serving and fellowshipping at Racine Bible Church.

Joan is survived by her children, Dennis (Eileen) Edwards of Austin, TX and Annjanette (Paul) Anderson of Kenosha, WI; her brother, Don (Nancy) Meissner and her beloved grandchildren, Brooke (Thomas) Cook, Micah Anderson and Sydney Anderson.
