It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane M. Gildenstern, who left us on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on August 21, 1959, to Stanley and Stella Juskewicz. Jane was a graduate of Bradford High School. She was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her-a loving wife and mother, a cherished daughter, friend, and a compassionate soul who had a unique gift for making everyone feel valued.
On May 20, 1989, she was united in marriage to Randy Gildenstern. They were blessed with 35 years of marriage.
Jane’s warmth and kindness were palpable, and her laughter filled every room. She had a remarkable way of connecting with people that brought comfort and joy. Whether it was through her thoughtful conversations, delicious home-cooked meals, or simply a warm smile, Jane made a difference in the lives of many. Her husband, Randy Gildenstern, stood proudly by her side, sharing countless memories and adventures filled with love and laughter.
Jane spent many years dedicated to volunteering at Stocker Elementary School while her children attended there. She spent countless hours supporting teachers around the school with various tasks and connecting with many of the students in the school. She worked at Kohl’s Department Store as the Jewelry Lead before retiring in 2016.
Jane had a passion for reading and could always be found with a book or her Kindle nearby. She loved sitting outside with her dogs and listening to the birds sing while planning out her garden.
As we reflect on Jane’s life, we celebrate the beautiful moments that she created and the love that she fostered. Though her physical presence may be gone, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Gildenstern; her three children, Brian, Rachel, and Emma; her granddaughter, Brynlee; her sisters, Mary and Patricia; and her brother, Thomas; and cherished friend Linda Schaefer.
Jane was preceded in death by her father and mother, Stanley and Stella Juskiewicz and an infant brother.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
