Helen E. Miller passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Hospitality Manor Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born on September 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Rose (Steffen) Zirbel.

On June 7, 1952, Helen was married to Paul Miller.  He preceded her in death on June 6, 1965.

She was employed with Quaker Industries and Snap-On Tools until her retirement on December 31, 1986.

Helen enjoyed bowling, playing night softball, and she was an avid Cubs fan.  She loved to color, and play bingo on Monday afternoons.  Helen had numerous Pen Pals from all over the U.S. and also Canada.

Helen is survived by her brothers, William and Larry (Greta) Zirbel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wesley, Walter, Leonard and Lester Zirbel; and her sisters, Mildred Jackley, Dorothy Nelson and June Macik.
