Cecil J. Thorn, age 76 of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Aurora Hospital.

Born in Marion County, Alabama, he was a son of the late Cecil C. and Jewell (Target) Thorn.

On June 29, 1960 in Kenosha, Cecil was united in marriage to Shirley Inman.

For 40 years, he was employed as a machinist with Mac Whyte Wire Rope Company.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Shirley; his two children, Brian Thorn and Laurie

LaBrasca, and his three grandchildren, Justin, Zachary, and Lauren LaBrasca. Cecil is further survived by three brothers, Charles, Terry, and Larry “Don” Thorn, and two sisters, Brenda Geegan, and Linda Thorn.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Thorn and a sister, Patricia Boren.
