Carol M. Bambrough, age 85 of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Brookside Care Center.

She was born on November 27, 1930 in Racine a daughter of the late Gullow and Linda (Ehrenburg) Nergaard.

Carol was a graduate of Horlick High School in Racine.

On May 7, 1955 she was united in marriage to Joseph L. Bambrough at St. George Catholic Church in Kenosha.  He preceded her in death on July 13, 2008.

Carol was a proud homemaker. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling, fishing, and camping.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue Ellen (Jim) Janik, and four grandchildren, Rebecca (Dave) Archibald, Joseph (Gwen) Zimmer, Chad Bambrough and Haley Bambrough and two great grandchildren, Lucy and Leland.  She is also survived by her sister, Joann (Warren) Wollmer and son in law, Bob Matoska.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen Matoska just hours prior to her passing, and her brother Richard Nergaard.
