Brigitte A. (Hansel) Mrokwa, age 90, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wismar, Germany on July 5, 1933 to the late Heinrich and Margot (Andres) Hansel.

On September 30, 1950 in Wismar, Germany, she was united in marriage to Kurt W. Mrokwa. Sadly, he preceded her in death.

Brigitte was employed as a manager of various jewelry stores and was a member of the D.A.N.K. club for many years.

She enjoyed gardening and jigsaw puzzles; but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Brigitte is survived by her daughters, Rosemarie (Paul) Lehrke and Heidemarie (Richard) Lenzini; her grandchildren, Corey Engelbrecht, Jason (Haley) Engelbrecht, Karina (Kyle) O’Guin, Tara (Robert) White and Kurt (Erika) Lehrke; her great grandchildren, Madison White, Carter White, Ethan Engelbrecht, Lorelai Engelbrecht, Sebastian Engelbrecht, Gideon Engelbrecht, Koby O’Guin, Kyle O’Guin, Jr., Kiora O’Guin, Kairi O’Guin, Aria Engelbrecht, Levi Engelbrecht, Chloe Lehrke and Henry Lehrke and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her husband, Kurt, she was preceded in death by her, sister Edith Klinger, her brother, Fred Hansel and her granddaughter Tanya Lehrke.
