Alfonso Martini, age 89, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Friday, June 26, 2015.

Born in Montalto Uffugo Consenza, Italy, on July 27, 1925, he was the son of the late Concetta (Marotta) Martini.

In Italy in 1953, he was united in marriage to Ida Marrelli. They were blessed with two sons and made Kenosha their home on December 23, 1977, coming from Argentina.

He was employed in maintenance with MacWhyte; retiring after 10 years of service.

Alfonso enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was a very likeable and caring man who cherished his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 62 years, Ida; his son, Aldo (Laura) Martini and his six grandchildren, Pablo, Sergio, Gabriela, Carlos, Sabrina and Jessica.

Along with his mother, Alfonso was preceded in death by a son, Carlos on July 19, 2010 and one sister.
