It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of John Henry Johnson of Lake Geneva, WI, who left us on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 13, 1948, in Chicago, IL, John was a devoted husband, and loving father, who touched the lives of many.

John was married to Terri (nee: Lucarz/Vandercar) in June 2000 in Lake Genva, WI.  They enjoyed many, many years of marriage together.

He worked as a millwright for the Steel Mill, General Motors and Reynolds in Illinois and SPX in WI.

John had many interests, but he most enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music and playing frisbee golf.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Terri Johnson, his son, Sean Johnson, and his daughter, Brandi Johnson. Stepfather to John Vandercar, Sarah Bergeron, Samantha Voss and Meghan Swords.  Grandfather to Hannah Johnson, Addison, Mary, Elizbeth, John and Rhiana Vandercar, Olivia Voss, Willow and Gabriel Swords. Great Grandfather to Mavis. Brother James Johnson, nephew Adam Johnson and niece Jennifer Johnson. He was known for his hardworking spirit and kind heart, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh with those around him. His family and friends will deeply miss his warmth and wisdom.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Johnson, Brothers Frank and Thomas Johson, and nephew Frank Johnson.
