It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julie M. Bednar on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. She was born on December 11, 1965, to James and Joyce (Carsten) Bednar. She was a graduate of Shoreland High School, Class of 1983. Julie was a cherished sister, daughter, aunt, and a friend to many. She had an infectious spirit that lit up any room she entered, bringing laughter and love to those around her.
Throughout her career, Julie held positions at several organizations, including Intermatic, Case, Tim & Tom’s Cheese Shop, and InSinkerator.
She enjoyed camping, traveling, doing counted cross-stitch, and visiting various casinos. Julie was a holiday enthusiast who loved collecting pins for every occasion.
She is survived by her father, James Bednar; her sister, Joann (Theodore) Yeugelowitz; her niece, Jayne Gabriel; her nephews, Theodore Yeugelowitz II and James Yeugelowitz. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Bednar.

October 30, 2025Sorry for the family loss. I worked with her a case company we used to do the tractors in the foundry on Main Street. She was a beautiful person my daughter and I Maddie, Maddie, White with her at incinerator she would be sadly miss.

Our deepest sympathy to Jim and his entire family. We shared many memories together and Julie will be remembered fondly by those of us who remain. She is with her mom and all her camping friends who have been waiting for us to join them around that campfire in God’s kingdom.

October 24, 2025Judy, Nancy and I were surprised to hear Julie died. Nancy and Judy could not take off of work. To bad the funeral was not on a weekend. I am 83 yrs.old and do not drive that far anymore. Our sympathy goes out to you and family. Ruth White
