With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Truskowski (nee: Fitzpatrick), born on May 19, 1939, who left this world peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved her family deeply.

On December 28, 1957, she was married to her high school sweetheart, Gerald (Jerry) Thomas Truskowski. They were blessed with 64 years of marriage. Carol had a great sense of humor and spent many evenings out with friends enjoying great food and laughter.

Carol enjoyed many years of wintering in Florida and traveling with Jerry. Jamaica was their favorite destination, so much so, that they took the whole family there for their 50th wedding anniversary. She also enjoyed gardening, painting and golfing. Carol was the first to get a hole in one before Jerry, much to his chagrin.

Carol is survived by her children, Susan (Peter) Christy, Steven (Bonny) Truskowski, Sandra (Donald) Riggs and Karen (Dennis) DuChene; her grandchildren, Peter (Sara) and Thomas (Kim) Christy, Michael, Sean (Megan) and Patrick (Erin) Truskowski, Christopher (Rachel) and Corey (Christina) Riggs, Collin and Alexandra DuChene and her 20 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her aunt, Arlene Sinnen. Carol cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories that will forever be etched in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Doris Fitzpatrick; her husband, Jerry, sister, Jean Weber and brother, Mike Fitzpatrick.
