Diane M. Schaeffer
December 6, 1955 -
August 15, 2026

In loving memory, and the next chapter, in the journey of Diane M. Schaeffer (Braun), 70, who was called home to be with her Savior and Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
On December 31, 1974, Diane was united in marriage to Greg Schaeffer.
She enjoyed attending family gatherings and grandchildren functions. Diane loved the outdoors, time in the sun, gardening, walking, swimming, live music and was a lifelong Milwaukee Bucks fan.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Greg Schaeffer of 51 years; Diane and Greg's four children: Kristi Schaeffer-Kleutsch (Dan), Tricia Winden (Jeff), Stacey Futh (Peter), and Troy Schaeffer (Nicole).
Diane adored her nine grandchildren who called her Nana. Nana had a special place in her heart for each grandchild. Each one unique and special. Daniel Kleutsch, Grace Kleutsch, Jacob Kleutsch, Clara Winden, Connor Winden, Addison Futh, Abel Futh, Luella Schaeffer and Theodore Schaeffer.
Diane is preceded in death by both of her parents, Joseph and Phyllis Braun and her father-in-law, Bruce Schaeffer.
We all know she will be preparing heaven for all family and friends. Blessings to all.
Memorial services honoring Diane’s life were held privately.

August 30, 2026My deepest sympathy to Greg and to Diane's entire family. Diane and I were neighbors for a few years as teenagers. We graduated together from Tremper HS and would then see each other off and on over the many years. The last time was at a baseball game we each had a grandson playing in. It was always a pleasure seeing her. May you all find solace in your loving memories. Rest in Peace, Diane.

August 29, 2026Diane was always one of my favorites. Both for the way she lived her life and for the way she raised her children. She will be missed.
