It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Paul J. Gorelik on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. He was born on January 12, 1952, to Justin Gorelik and Cecilia Bajtos. He was a graduate of Case High School.

On December 11, 1999, Paul was united in marriage to Terri Marie Miller.

Paul dedicated 6 years of his career to Pinkerton's and later worked for National Building Maintenance for 23 years. Throughout his career, he became involved in loss prevention and investigative work, including traveling to Las Vegas to assist with cases involving employee theft and internal loss prevention. He also enjoyed working as a secret shopper. Given the nature of his work, it was only fitting that "Secret Agent Man" became a favorite song and one that brought a little humor to his career.

Outside of work, Paul had many interests and accomplishments. He loved golfing and could be found on the golf course every chance he had. His love of the outdoors also made camping a favorite pastime, giving him the opportunity to enjoy nature and the peacefulness of being outside.

Paul was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and had a special love for animals. In his younger years, he earned his private pilot's license and achieved a black belt in karate, accomplishments of which he was very proud.

Above all else, Paul's greatest love was his daughter. His love and devotion to her were endless, and the special bond they shared remained one of the most meaningful parts of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Gorelik; siblings, Cecilia Peters, Michael (Laura) Gorelik; his daughter, Krista (Dave) Viegut; his grandchildren, Cora, Amelia "Millie", Veda, and Emmett and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by siblings, Justin P. Gorelik, Sylvester (Julie) Gorelik, Margaret (Bobby) Villegas.
