It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank C. Chianelli III, a beloved husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on November 10, 1952, to Frank and Theresa (Santelli) Chianelli, Jr. Frank was a 1970 graduate of Tremper High School. He spent his life in Kenosha, Wisconsin, creating a legacy of kindness, hard work, and love that will forever be cherished.

On April 27, 1974, Frank was united in marriage to Joan Bucher, and they spend the next 52 years enjoying family, friends and life.

From an early age, he developed a strong work ethic, beginning as a paperboy for the Kenosha News. He later worked at Paielli's Bakery, where he met Joan, and at Polentini's Bakery alongside family. He went on to work for AMC/Renault as a Final Repair Inspector before returning to school to further his education. He attended Gateway Technical College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design with honors.

He put his education and talents to work at Fairey Arlon in Sturtevant, designing filters for helicopters and aircraft. He later became a Facilities Supervisor for the Kenosha Unified School District, retiring after 19 years of dedicated service to the community. In retirement, he proudly went on to serve as a Bailiff at the Kenosha County Courthouse, a role he greatly enjoyed.

Baking was one of his greatest passions, especially creating cakes for birthdays, weddings, Easter, and other special occasions. He loved sharing his talents with others and would bring miniature cakes to his daughter's elementary school students, teaching them the basics of cake decorating and giving them a special memory to take home. One of his most cherished traditions was making every one of his grandson Luke's 16 birthday cakes, sharing with Luke not only his creativity but also his love of decorating.

His talents in the kitchen extended well beyond cakes. He was known for bringing homemade treats to his coworkers and also enjoyed making homemade pasta and grilling for family and friends.

He treasured time spent with his family, especially the many years they enjoyed camping together. Each year, he made sure the entire family had matching tie-dyed T-shirts, adding a little extra fun and creating a tradition they would always remember. He also enjoyed trips to Alaska, where he could experience the beauty of nature and see the wildlife he loved so much.

He is deeply missed by his beloved wife, Joan Chianelli; his daughter, Jennifer Chianelli-Bertz; his son, Frank Chianelli IV; his grandson, Luke Bertz; nephew, Josh Chianelli; and many other beloved cousins, family, and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, mother-in-law, sister, brother, nephew, and other family members.

Rest in peace, Frank. You will always be missed and never forgotten.
