Kathy J. Lester, age 65, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center.

Born on February 26, 1949, in Altoona, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Charlotte (Montgomery) Henry. Raised and educated in Pennsylvania, she also received her Master’s Degree from Pittsburg University.

After relocating to Winthrop Harbor, she was employed for over 35 years with Great Lakes Naval Base as a property consultant.

As a cooking enthusiast, she spent countless hours watching the Food Network. Kathy loved trying new recipes and even had the chance to meet some of the Food Network personalities at a recent visit to Ravina. She loved trying new restaurants and was also a voracious reader.

Kathy was survived by her caregiver and friend, Angie Parker and also her neighbors, Leslie and Carlos Hernandez and Laurie Latchell.
