Carol KerkmanI was sorry to read about Deloris' passing. I worked with her in the Kenosha County Treasurer's Office from 1987, when I transferred there from another department, until she retired in 1991. Deloris was a nice person to work with, very particular with her work and patient in training me. She kept things neat and orderly. I knew that her husband, family and church were very important to her as she spoke of them often. She will be greatly missed.

April IshmaelI was sad to read in the Kenosha News that Deloris had passed away. I knew her when I worked in the Kenosha County Treasurers office in 1975 and 1976. She was very supportive for me because I knew her when my husband and I were separated for a year. We did not divorce and will celebrate our 45th anniversary in September. She was always smiling, pleasant and willing to teach me my job. She had a great sense of humor too. I think she told me that she had six children. I came from a small family of having only one sister, so I thought this was quite amazing! I had my first daughter, Ginger (now 41) whom Teresa used to babysit for. Time passes so quickly. My daughter has six children too and I love being a grandma. I know Deloris must have been a wonderful grandma and great grandma...she was very loving to her family. I'm sure she will be truly missed by her family and friends. I'm glad I was able to know her for such a short time in my life. We did however exchange Christmas cards and Christmas letters every year, including this last Christmas. I was always anxious to read what was happening in her life. I will miss her Christmas letter. May God be with you all (family and friends) during this most difficult time.
