Mary Geraghty (nee Troy), age 56 of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016, following a brief illness.
Mary was born on November 9, 1959 in Yonkers, NY the fifth child of the late William J. and Carmen A. (Zofrea) Troy.
She received her BA Degree from Carthage College and her Master’s Degree from U.W.-Parkside.
On April 25, 1992 at St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Racine she was united in marriage to Timothy J. Geraghty.
Mary enjoyed serving her community working with various not for profit agencies including the Development Office at U.W. Parkside, as a physician recruiter at St. Catherine’s Hospital, as a Transition Specialist with ADRC, and with the IRIS Program.
There is no question for anyone who knew Mary that her passion in life was caring for her three sons, Conor, Patrick, and Joey.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy, her three sons, Conor, Patrick and Joey Geraghty; her siblings, Kathleen (Jim) Amidei, William (Paula) Troy, Joseph (Kris) Troy, Michael (Cynthia) Troy, Timothy (Jacque) Troy, and Maureen (Jason Latus) Troy.

A memorial service honoring the life of Mary Geraghty will be held on Saturday, Oct 1, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave. Kenosha, WI.
