
Elizabeth “Betty” A. Widmar

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Widmar, age 79 of Kenosha, died at her home, on Sunday, November 27, 2016, after a long battle with health problems.
Born in Kenosha, on March 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Josephine (Klobuchar) Widmar. She was educated in Kenosha schools and attended Gateway Technical College.
Betty was employed as an assistant to Dr. Fiorini, Dr. Ferrell; Attorneys Zagoras & Hanrath and Dr. Luben Atzeff, until her retirement in 1998. After she retired, Betty worked a few hours a week at her son’s business, Millhouse Auto Body in Kenosha.
In 1955, she married William R. Millhouse. They divorced after 23 year together.
She loved to play golf, dance and read. She also enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and was an avid Packer fan. She loved to redecorate and did so often.
Betty has many special cousins, especially Tony, Bill and Jerry Widmar along with their wives and enjoyed getting together with them. Sylvia Shierk, Marlene Schmaling, Cookie Liegakos were devoted friends. Getting together with family was very special to her.
She is survived by her wonderful children, Billy and Bobby (Susan) Mill house and Sandra (Jim) Grumbeck; her much loved grandchildren, Jake Grumbeck, Jade (Kevin) Bell, Jasmin Grumbeck and Luke and Zachary Millhouse along with her great-granddaughter, Mia Bell. She is further survived by her brothers, Robert and Jack and a sister Connie (Rich) Richards.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheree Lynn Resop; her brothers, Richard, Frank and Edward Widmar; her ex-husband, Bill Millhouse and her beloved companion Yorkie, Lexi.

Funeral Services honoring Betty’s life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720-39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
